OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO:- • Know how to read Quran Kareem. • Desire to recite the Quran Kareem correctly. • Have experience in using the Internet. OBJECTIVES: • This course aims to further advance students’ knowledge of Tajweed rules and improve their recitation. • The course also, supports students to perform a recitation excellently, accurately and self-confidently with Tajweed. METHOD: • The course is taught in English & Urdu and focuses on the recitations skills with simple explanation if it is required. • There will be a practice-oriented recitation and re-correction • Class size is limited to one on one to allow intensive interactive practice with individual feedback and advice on progress. PARTICIPATION: • Active participation is necessary to achieve the stated goals. SYLLABUS: • Learn to recite with Tajweed on the Quran Kareem in addition to the correction of any mistakes which have been found. • Review the previously corrected recitation. • Regular practice and revision on what has been taught from Tajweed rules. • The course will cover the Tajweed rules in general not specific. COURSE OUTLINE: Students will be able to: • Understand some Tajweed rules in a simple and noticeable method. • The student will be able to recite the Quran Kareem fluently and confidently. • Will be able to observe students’ mistakes and rectify it. • The course is flexible for students who are looking to improve their recitation and focus on revision. RECOMMENDED STUDY HABITS: Will be required to practice for effective results.
