A number when divided by 61 gives 27 as quotient and 32 as remainder. Find the number.

Solution:

It is known to us that, Dividend = Divisor \times Quotient + Remainder
It is given that,
Divisor =61, Quotient =27, Remainder =32
Let the Dividend be x
\begin{aligned} \therefore x &=61 \times 27+32 \\ &=1679 \end{aligned}
As a result, the required number is 1679 .
