Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has prepared a detailed syllabus for Class 12 Chemistry for the board exam of 2021-22. The new syllabus aims to help students become better in understanding the concepts given in the curriculum of Chemistry. Gist of the theory syllabus
From the above table, it can be said that the syllabus is quite comprehensive, and a few chapters are important to study in detail. Especially, chapters such as Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, P-block elements, and Amines should be given more time to study. The rest of the chapters also need attention as per the marks allotted. It is interesting to note here that many students in the previous years have said they find chemistry papers not too difficult but tricky.
Therefore, analyzing the syllabus repeatedly and solving previous year question papers is an intelligent approach to studying Chemistry. Also, the subject demands a fair amount of memorization, but the clarity of concepts is as much important.
