Solar Cookers and Solar Water Heater:

The black surface absorbs more heat compared to the white or light area under similar conditions. Solar heaters and solar water heaters use this space in their operation. Some solar cookers obtain high temperatures by using mirrors to focus on the sun’s rays. The solar panels are covered with a glass plate. The trapped solar power is reflected by a sheet of glass that makes food cooked.

Solar Cell:

A typical cell develops 0.5-1 V power and can produce about 0.7 W of electricity when exposed to the Sun. A large number of solar cells are integrated into a system called a solar cell panel that can provide enough electricity for real use. Advantages – They have no moving parts, require little care and work efficiently without using anything centered and they can be set up in remote and inaccessible villages or in densely populated areas where the installation of a transmission line can be costly and not commercially viable.
