17. In the metropolitan cities of India, many children are suffering from allergy/asthma. What are the main causes of this problem? Give some symptoms of allergic reactions.

Solution:

1. The air and noise pollution levels in cities are extremely high. Pollutants are released by factories and other sectors, causing allergies.

2. It weakens children’s immunity and makes them more vulnerable to allergies.

Symptoms:

1. Breathing Difficulty.

2. Sneezing

3. Runny Nose

4. Burning and watery eyes.
