Voltage = 200 V

time = 5 minutes

As we know,

Energy= V2t / R

(i) Energy in joules

E = [(200)2 × 300] / 200

Hence,

E = 60000 J

(ii) Energy is In kWh

Since1 kWh = 3.6 × 106 J

1 J = 1 / 3.6 × 106 kWh

60000 J = 60000 / 3.6 × 106

Therefore, 60000 J = 0.0167 kWh
