Class mark, xi = (upper class limit + lower class limit)/2

Total Ʃfi = 41 Ʃfixi = 985

Mean = Ʃfixi/ Ʃfi

= 985/41

= 24.024

= 24.02 (approx)

Hence the mean of the distribution is 24.02.
