Solution:

(i) As per the question,

Two subsets are A and B

We need to prove: (A \cap B) \subset A

Proof:

Let’s say x \in A \cap B

\Rightarrow x \in A and x \in B

\Rightarrow \mathrm{X} \in \mathrm{A}

\Rightarrow \mathrm{A} \cap \mathrm{B} \subset \mathrm{A}

As a result, hence proved.
