$=1y+\left( 9/100 \right)y$ $=109y/100$ But, the total amount of the coat to be paid = ₹ $2,616$ Then reduced price , $109y/100=$ ₹ $2,616$ $y=(2,616\times 100)/109$ $y=2,61,600/109$ $y=2400$
