Find the area enclosed between two concentric circles, their radii are $6$ cm and $13$ cm respectively.

Given that,

Radii of two concentric circles are $6$ cm and $13$ cm respectively.

${{r}^{2}}=6cm$

${{r}^{2}}=13cm$

Area between two concentric circles = Areas of larger circle – area of smaller circle

Area of circle $=\pi {{r}^{2}}$

Area of circle $=\pi r_{1}^{2}-\pi r_{2}^{2}$

$=\left[ \left( 22/7 \right)\times {{6}^{2}} \right]-\left[ \left( 22/7 \right)-{{13}^{2}} \right]$

$=531.1429-113.1429$

Area of circle $=418c{{m}^{2}}$

Hence , the area enclosed between two concentric circles is $418c{{m}^{2}}$ .
