Given line condition is

(i) On subbing

$x\text{ }=\text{ }-\text{ }5\text{ }and\text{ }y\text{ }=\text{ }0$

in the given line condition, we have

$L.H.S.\text{ }=\text{ }-\text{ }5\text{ }\text{ }2\left( 0 \right)\text{ }+\text{ }5$

$=\text{ }-\text{ }5\text{ }\text{ }0\text{ }+\text{ }5\text{ }=\text{ }5\text{ }\text{ }5\text{ }=\text{ }0\text{ }=\text{ }R.H.S.$
