If ∆ABC ∼ ∆DEF, AB = 4 cm, DE = 6, EF = 9 cm and FD = 12 cm, then find the perimeter of ∆ABC.

Solution:

As per the inquiry,

Stomach muscle = 4 cm,

DE = 6 cm

EF = 9 cm

FD = 12 cm

Too,

∆ABC ∼ ∆DEF

We have,

       By taking initial two terms, we have

Also, by taking last two terms, we have,

Presently,

    \[Border\text{ }of\text{ }ABC\text{ }=\text{ }AB\text{ }+\text{ }BC\text{ }+\text{ }AC\]

    \[4\text{ }+\text{ }6\text{ }+\text{ }8\text{ }=\text{ }18\text{ }cm\]

Accordingly, the border of the triangle is 18 cm.
