Some of the applications of a convex lens are

(i) A telescope, camera, slide projector, or other device’s objective lens is a convex lens that creates a real and inverted image of the object.

(ii) The lens of our eyes is also convex. The inverted image of the item on the retina is formed by the eye lens.

Some of the applications of a concave lens are

(i) To acquire the final erect image of the object, a concave lens is utilised as the eye lens in a Galilean telescope.

(ii) A person with myopia (short sightedness) uses spectacles with a concave lens.
