Solution: The Phospho Enol Pyruvate (PEP) carboxylase is found in the mesophyll cells of C 4 plants and catalyzes the conversion of PEP to oxaloacetate. (OAA) is the first 4C stable chemical generated in C4 plants as a result of PEP accepting ambient C{{O}_{2}} in the presence of PEP carboxylase.  So, the correct answer is (b).
