Nucleotides are the monomers of chemical name nucleic acid and are formed of nucleoside and phosphate group. On the other hand nucleosides are the made up of nucleotides. Adenosine, guanosine, thymidine, uridine and cytidine are the examples of nucleosides.
Adenylic acid, thymidylic acid, guanylic acid, uridylic acid and cacodylic acid are the examples of nucleotides.
