Which node of heart does the work of pacemaker? Explain why it is called as lifesaving apparatus?

Solution:

Sino-atrial node of the heart works as a pacemaker. It is located in the right atrium (upper rightmost corner). SA node generates impulses that facilitate the heart to pump the blood throughout the body.

SA node is called life saving because it generates electrical impulses that supports our life by suppling blood throughout the body that plays a crucial role to carry nutrients, respiratory gases and immune responses.
