Freon -12 has a variety of applications.
Freon-12 (dichlorodifluoromethane, CF2Cl2) is also known as CFC. It’s found in deodorants, hair sprays, and other aerosol spray propellants. It’s also utilized as a refrigerant in refrigerators and air conditioners. Its production was outlawed in the United States and many other nations in 1994 due to its significant ozone depletion.
DDT’s ApplicationsDDT (p, p-dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane) is the most widely used insecticide. It was outlawed in the United States in 1973 due to a variety of negative consequences, despite the fact that it is particularly effective against mosquitoes and lice.
