Δ ABC and Δ AMP are the two right triangles.

To prove :

ΔABC ΔAMP

Proof :

∠AMP = ∠B = 90o

∠MAP = ∠BAC (Vertically Opposite Angles)

⇒ ΔABC∼ΔAMP     (AA similarity)

(ii)  ΔABC∼ΔAMP

CA/ PA = BC/ MP (Corresponding sides are proportional)

Hence proved.
