Which of the following sentences are statements? Give reasons for your answer. (i) There are 35 days in a month. (ii) Mathematics is difficult.

(I) The greatest number of days in a month is

so this sentence is incorrect. Subsequently it is an statement .

(ii) This sentence is emotional. For certain individuals, Mathematics can be simple and for some others it tends to be troublesome. Accordingly it’s anything but not a statement.
