Chhattisgarh Board Class 12 Maths Syllabus

CGBSE (Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education) has come up with a restructured and comprehensive syllabus for Class 12 Maths. The syllabus of the subject has been designed keeping in mind the future academic career of the students as well as the board exams. Moreover, the chapters included in the syllabus provide students with sufficient knowledge to tackle any engineering entrance exams.

In this article, we will cover the detailed Chhattisgarh Board class 12 Maths syllabus for the academic year 2021-22, the evaluation pattern of the board, the importance of each chapter, key insights from those chapters, and some helpful FAQs.

The new syllabus aims to help students become better in understanding the concepts given in the curriculum of Maths. It is of great importance that students study and analyze the syllabus before they start studying the subject. The subject has two papers with a total marks of 100.  The first is a theoretical paper, and the second would be project work/test.

Paper-I will be an 80 marks theory paper with a 3-hour time restriction.

Paper-II will be a project/test worth 20 marks.

Given below is the chapter and unit-wise distribution of the Class 12 Maths syllabus:

Especially, chapters such as Matrices, Integrals, Application of Integrals, and Linear Programming should be given more time to study. The rest of the chapters also need attention as per the marks allotted.

It is interesting to note here that many students in the previous years have said they find Maths papers not too difficult but lengthy. Therefore, analyzing the syllabus repeatedly and solving previous year question papers is an intelligent approach to studying Maths. Also, the subject demands a fair amount of practice, an honest effort to gain clarity of concepts, and persistence.
