Living things contributes a vast diversity in this Earth. Researchers estimate that there are about seven million of diversities present. Biologists can estimate the total number of living things on earth by comparing statistics between the richness of a well-studied group of tropical and subtropical insects. These ratios are later transferred by groups of other plants and animals to measure the richness of the fish species found on Earth.
