(i) When D-glucose is heated with HI for a long time, n-hexane is produced.

(ii) D-glucose is converted to D-gluconic acid when it is treated with Bromine water.

(iii) After being treated with HNO3, D-glucose is oxidized and saccharic acid is produced.
